This is FreeBSD's fault.

ISO Standard C requires wchar.h as part of the standard library. FreeBSD
(at least according to their CVSWeb tool) does *not* provide this
file. Therefore, this is Not Our Fault (tm).

There are two options for fixing this:

1) Get FreeBSD to fix themselves (or show me why they already have).
This is the optimal solution, but may be long term. If no one else steps
up, I will drop an email to their developer list later this week.

2) Code around this (fun with #ifdef).
This is the immediate solution. Patches always accepted.

If anyone know this issue better than I, please correct me.
