There is no way we will remove the menu bar. As Micheal says, some users
prefere them and they are also the way most users expect to access the
functionality of the program.

Micheal,
        The abi toolabrs all have tooltips. Put you mouse over them and
0.5 seconds later the tooltip explaining the button will appear. These are
more descriptive than the menu. Fianlly Joaquin has implemented the
show/hide toolbar preference item so the toolbars can all be turned off
anyway.
