compiling 0.7.10 on NT

Subject: compiling 0.7.10 on NT
From: Bart Jansen (bjansen@pandora.be)

Hi!

After a period of successfull use of abiword, I've tried to compile the
code.
Something goes wrong with a missing tmp directory.
Is this the "linux" tmp,? Probably. I've got a tmp in the cygwin folder,
just like a var, etc, ...
But I've noticed that the home directory bash starts with can change.
(sometimes it's desktop, sometimes its e:\cygnus)
Is that what's going wrong? How can this be solved?

Thanks a lot for your help,
Bart Jansen.

This si what it says :
