HI everyone,
            there have been several comments that Abiword's initial window
size on Linux machines is not optimal. I spent a lot of time over the
weekend trying to fix this. In the end I discovered that Abi acknowledges
hints from the window manager on the size of the application. This means
abi autosizes to the resolution of the screen if you have a good window
manager like Sawfish (the gnome default). Further more if you set sawfish
to "automatically remember window sizes" every abi resize you do will be
remembered between invocations.

Maybe something like this should be in the help file.
