Nice bug. I cannot believe this hadn't been reported yet. I logged this
as #776, as a High. http://www.abisource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=776
Also, it turns out that you don't need step 4 to see the bug. Unreal. The
really spooky aspect of this problem is that it could be either a 3 line
fix or a Bruce Perason caliber fix.
