This patch adds helpful error messages to XP open commands (that means
open graphics) thus squashing bug 683. Opening files is currently done in
OS-specific code, and will be the subject of a future patch. Additionally,
pending resolution of the issue of where to locate the function
toErrorCode, it is currently in ap_EditMethods.cpp, which, while it is the
only place it is used, does not seem to be the correct location. However,
everything currently works the way it should.
