Hi again.
Has the topic of structured documents been covered on the mailing list
before ?
Considering that abiword runs on Unix, and the Unix platforms have a lot
of scientists and would-be scientists, it would be very prudent to add
capabilities for writing structured documents.
Especially considering the fact that the Linux Documentation Project uses
structured SGML documents and so does the Linux kernel now. It should be
in GNOME and AbiWord's best interest to recruit the soft-core hackers as
well (in addition to the users).
If this topic has been discussed before (I couldn't find it by
random-sampling the mailing list archives from 1999 and 2000), what was
the upshot ?
