Again, this sounds like we're converging on consensus here. The field for a
hyperlink would be marked up something like the following:

  <field type="hyperlink" ref="http://www.abisource.com">foo</field>

Of course, I've given a total of zero thought to the actual args here, but
you get the idea. :-)

Of course the obvious question this brings up is whether the contents of
this field could be an image instead of just text. Sigh. I'd hate to have
a full-generality content model for fields, if there's any sane way to avoid
it and still have decent file format compatibility with other word
processors.
