I am attempting to check out the tree for the second time since being given
write access. I haven't tried to commit anything since I don't have a working
binary yet and would like to see if the patches fixed that. I am getting these
errors:

cvs checkout: ignoring abi (CVS/Repository missing)
cvs checkout: ignoring abidistfiles (CVS/Repository missing)
cvs checkout: ignoring expat (CVS/Repository missing)
cvs checkout: ignoring libiconv (CVS/Repository missing)
cvs checkout: ignoring libpng (CVS/Repository missing)
cvs checkout: ignoring unixfonts (CVS/Repository missing)
cvs checkout: ignoring wv (CVS/Repository missing)
cvs checkout: ignoring zlib (CVS/Repository missing)
cvs checkout: in directory abi:
cvs checkout: cannot open CVS/Entries for reading: No such file or directory
cvs server: Updating abi
cvs checkout: move away abi/BUILD.TXT; it is in the way

What is wrong? I still have a copy of the tree, a few months old, with the CVS
directories intact; should I copy the missing files over?
