Yeah, I noticed that. Thankfully the patch applied relatively cleanly to
the CVS sources.

There's no question that patch on Windows is broken, at least in the
version of cygwin that I've got (I've had plenty of problems with it in the
past as well). It actually blows up near the end of the patch file; most of
it gets successfully patched. I may try breaking it up to see if that helps
any.
