I just read that the GPL V 2.0 requires a changelog containing everybodies
contribution so that the authorship of the code is clear.

How about if we put it in the abidistfiles directory each release. That
way developers aren't burdened with another 800k in their code trees. By
the way has anyone thought about how to distribute all the extra fonts
we'll need for non-latin Languages? How big are the font files for CKJ?
