Ok - here's my report:
My machine - compiles & works just fine
the Abi BeOS machine (the one not running tinderbox) - misbehaving,
currently useless. Testing later
the abi FreeBSD machine - compiles, but still won't link. A few additonal
changes were required to get it to compile. Will post those to the list
in just a second.
I say commit, both martin/vlad's big patch, and the FreeBSD changes I
made.
