It would appear that this member (m_pPendingWordForSpell->m_pDoc) does not
get changed during the undo's. This suggests to me that

1) gdb is lying
2) the pointer now references stale info, and should have been updated (in
some ideal sense)

If the answer is 2, then we are in a difficult situation (AFAICT). We
need for undo to be informing lots of people that it is wrecking their
pointers, and that they need to fix them. The real problem is not just in
spell checking, but in everything else that will eventually develop this
bug.
