The dependencies still aren't right. I'd like to take a stab at starting to fix
the problem, but I'm not sure how to write cross-platform Makefiles. For
something like:

xap_UnixApp.o: xap_UnixApp.cpp\
 ut_debugmsg.h\
 ut_dialogHelper.h\
 ut_string.h\
 xap_Args.h\
 xap_UnixApp.h\
 xap_FakeClipboard.h\
 gr_UnixImage.h\
 xap_UnixFrame.h\
 xap_UnixToolbar_Icons.h\
 xap_Unix_TB_CFactory.h\
 xap_Prefs.h\

how should I write it, and which Makefile should I put it in?
