Subject: Need for cross platform font listing

I was on IRC earlier this evening with Martin, trying to add font change
support to my WordPerfect importer. Basically, what I need to do this is a
listing of what fonts Abiword currently has available, so I can compare them
with what the WordPerfect document expects.
Unfortunately, the current Abi font listing function (..checked irc to look
it up, discovered that the log had expired) is platform/unix specific. We
need a cross platform way of listing the currently available fonts,
regardless of platform. Martin suggested a virtual interface. Any volunteers?
(I would be all for it, but I'm going on vacation for a week)
(sorry I'm not being more specific, but it's late.. and I need to travel
tomorrow).
