Hi Folks,
Another use for gnome-vfs and our really cool importer
architecture is to automatically load hyperlinked documents into abiword.

It would work like this.

1. Pass URL to gnome-vfs. It checks it's valid, opens the file. We read
say 1 kbytes of data.
We then pass the data to our importer sniffers.

If the document is HTML or XHTML pass the call onto the gnome-browser.

Otherwise we open a new document window and load it off the internet (or
local file system) using a gnome-vfs supported protocol.

This way you can put hyper-linked documents together and place them
where ever you like.

Pretty cool eh?

I'll check into this tomorrow but don't hold 0.9.6 because of this.

Cheers

Martin
