It seems to me that the combination of CLOSED and LATER (or
REMIND, for that matter) stretches the semantics of CLOSED too far.

What made me think that were bugs such as

http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1845 (smart quotes don't
work on linux)

or

http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1933 (RFE - ability to do
borders and shading would be useful)

Isn't it that what you expect of a typical CLOSED bug is to peacefully rot
rather than be scheduled for resurrection at a later point? Of course,
technically it is possible, cause when the time comes, you can reopen the
given bug, but shouldn't reopening be an unwelcome exception rather than a
standard procedure, as it seems to be in this case?

So I wonder if I misunderstand this completely (in which case I'd be
grateful for some hints :-) or maybe, with the recently proposed
modifications to Bugzilla (the 'stale bugs' thread), this problem -- if it
is a problem to others as well -- could be solved by introducing more
appropriate labels.

Thanks,
Piotr
