Fixed behaviour of the caret at the end of line; removed the
direction flag from the caret when the location of the next character
to be input is unambiguous (the reason for this is so that in non-
bidi documents the caret would appear as it does at the moment in
the non-bidi version of the AW; this way if/when we integrate bidi
into the official build, people who do not use bidi will not be puzzled
by the appearance of the caret).
