Ok, curiosity got the best of me!

Would an ordinary PC disk be useful? Like the Maxstor 15 GBs on sale at
Best Buy and Circuit City for about $50 after a $30 rebate? If not, is
it because the host computer is not a PC, 15 GB is not near enough, no
more controllers, or too slow (which I don't think I'd believe
considering the Internet must be a pretty big (small) bottleneck), or
some other reason?

If that would help, I'm willing to donate $10 towards one (hey, I'm
"between jobs").
