I've just noticed that the File Open and Save dialogs use
descriptions strings of the form:
AbiWord (.abw)
Whereas Windows uses:
AbiWord (*.abw)

From what I can see we are trying to use the Windows format and
the other platforms do what they need with it.
Is it safe for me to "correct" all these strings or do they
actually need to be in this format?
It's very minor but I'm working on the file dialog now.
