Hi,

I've been using Abiword for some time, and it worked great until a few
weeks ago. As I was upgrading some libraries on my system at that
time, I suppose there is some incompatibility somewhere, but I cannot
find it (I've been downgrading all that I think of, to make sure, to
no avail).

Here's what's happening:

schmitta@alan-schm1p:~> abiword
/usr/local/bin/abiword: line 68: 5642 Erreur de segmentation $ABISUITE_LIBEXEC/AbiWord_d "$@"

(the seg fault seems to occur in the same place, independently of the
static or dynamic version).

I'm using linux 2.4.5, Abiword is cvs from june 29 (I know it's not
the latest version. I'll only have cvs access tomorrow, and I'll send
an update to say if the same error occurs). My system is a redhat
system, with the following rpms:
XFree86-4.0.3-5 (I tried 4.1, it did not change anything)
glibc-2.2.2-10 (I also tried with a newer one)
gtk+-1.2.9-4

If you have any idea why this is happening, on suggestions on how to
explore the problem further, I'd be delighted.

Thanks.

Alan Schmitt
