Agreed. But, re Mike Nordell's post, if it is done through a
bookmark-like feature, then it would be something that is saved in the
file, not in a special state-saving file (with the exception of Emacs,
of course, since it deals only with text files). Bookmarks are saved in
the file in WP and, I believe, in Word. Not that AbiWord has to follow
such examples of implementation, unless one wants to share files with
the incorporated bookmarks -- I've never needed this, and I suppose such
needs are easily met by other regular word processor features: comments,
annotations, Word's outline view, etc.
