Windows IME input broken?

I've been away from Abi for a few months but I finally
had a chance to install the latest build on a
computer.
I am shocked to discover that I can no longer input
Chinese or Japanese - languages that require an IME.
Since I implemented the Windows IME code myself I'm
a bit shocked to see that it no longer works. Sadly,
I have no compiler here so I can't look into it.
Does anybody know what happened? I feel this is very
important.

Andrew Dunbar.
