    There is yet another issue here that we will have to face sooner or
    later. On win32 the layout depends on the PRINTER. If you take a
    big Word doc and change from one printer to a completely different
    printer, the layout of the doc may change, for instance, you could
    have more pages. This because pt is not a truly physical unit; there
    are about 72 points / inch, 'about' being the operative word. If the
    printer has built in fonts such as the basic windows fonts, and that is
    very common, it might print using them, and they can be different
    than the system fonts -- smaller, wider, narrower, differently hinted,
    what ever. If we want a truly wysiwyg behaviour, we will have to do
    the layout for the printer, not for the system fonts.
