O2 for debug on auto* builds.

    Hi Francis,
               Currently if I do --enable-debug on an auto* build I get code
    compiled with -O2 optimization. This really screws up debug and make the
    compile a little bit slower than it needs to be.

    Can you fix this to remove the -O2 if --enable-debug is passed to
    configure?
