Sc0tt,
After downloading and installing the rpms from sourceforge, including
the gnome build and the plugins, I found that 1) version in the 'about'
dialogue is wrong (except for gtk build which is static) and 2) plugins
won't load (this box is debian-devel, update 2 days ago).

Wanna help me murder the problem? Would statically linking plugins do
anything to help compatibility amongst distros?
