Commmit: much more sprintf, strcat removals

I hope that this doesn't break anything, esp. in the RTF code. I've
regression-tested on my arsenal of docs and things *seem* to be ok.

Removes most (not all) strcpy, strcat, and sprintf from imp/exp
architecture.
