expat doesn't understand anything; AbiWord uses iconv to help expat with
encodings. libxml2 uses iconv as well, so... perhaps iconv doesn't
understand the EUC-JP encoding?
What's wrong with AbiWord's libxml2 support? I've had a quick look and
haven't found anything wrong, and I'll take another look in a bit, but it
would help if I knew what exactly was wrong...
