That is an assumption that cannot be taken for granted, when the
threaded loader code was introduced, win32 AW would not even
start due to several SIGSEGVs in various places. So even if we do
not implement the code soon (and I agree that in itself is not
critical), we do need to be certain that we at least have the old
functionality.
