Problems compiling AbiWord-1.0.2 on Windows

Moron question of the day:

Downloaded abiword-1.0.2.tar.gz file from sourceforge
(no cvs access here), and tried to compile it on
windows (diving makefile).

It fails saying:

fatal error C1083: Cannot open compiler generated
file:
'C:\cygwinhome\jcuenca\abisource\abiword-1.0.2\abi\src\WIN32_1.3.10_i386_OBJ\obj\zlib\adler32.obj':
No such file or directory

So somewhere it messes /cygdrive/c/home/jcuenca with
C:\cygwinhome\jcuenca

Is it a known bug?

My cygwin directory doesn't contains any spaces nor
funny characters...
