    Hi

Yesterday newsgroup alt.comp.freeware had a AbiWord question.
    See quote below.

Are there any templates available for Abiword (
predefined letters, etc.)? I don't see any on the
website. Or are there any other freeware word
processors that have templates for use?
    Thanks

There hasn't been any answer yet.
    1. Could one of you guys reply to the sender. I know that
the latest release 0.99.3 has a new File/New/Template
dialogue, but I don't know if you can use templates
    using the previous versions.
2, Is there any downloadable templetes (URL?) for AbiWord.
The templates dialogue has a few ready made templates.
    3. I can select an existing template from my templates directory (create
new document from template) via the templates dialogue. The problem
is that I see the whole filename path. At least in my system I just
see part of the templates name becase the dialogue isn't wide enough.
I can select the templates name but I can't scroll the line to the
right to see the whole name.
Maybe it would be better that you don't show the path, just the
file name. Maybe the title could show my templates directory path
if you want to see the path. Because it is always the AbiSuite/templates
directory we really don't need the whole path?

PS. I am using the windows version if that makes any difference.
The alt.comp.freeware newsgroup is mainly windows oriented so I
think the question was of the windows version.
