I've finally got a clean FreeBSD build, with XFT, on HEAD. More on
what I had to do to get that to work later.
However, it looks like I've been bitten by bug 3877
http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3877
Was there ever any resolution here? Thoughts? Every other XFT2 app
seems to find font.conf just fine. I'm not very familiar with this
system, though.
