spell-checking non-functional in cvs

    Hi - I have abi from cvs compiled and sort of working but have problem
    with spell-checking

    1. When I load any document I get a message saying that the GB
    dictionary (or US) could not be loaded.

    2. In spellcheck preferences dictionary is greyed out

    3. output from ldd /usr/bin/Abiword_d shows libpspell.so.4 listed

    anyone any ideas
