    A more simple example.

    Run Abiword
    Start a new document
    Font New Times Roman, 12 (my default, I do not need to change it)
    Zoom to 100 % (does not seem to affect)
    Type 4
    Press the left arrow to place the cursor at the begining of the 4
    Press return

    Can you reproduce it? If I change the code of Abi to disable the caret (just
    not drawing it). It does not occur.

    Any idea? Can you reproduce it?
