    That's not entirely true - at least the text
    importer/exporter supports an "encoding" argument and
    will pop up a dialog if requested to. I'd also suggest
    something similar for RTF.

    I propose that we make this part of the 2.2 roadmap as
    well as deprecating the "Encoded text" imp/exp and
    "RTF for old Apps" exp.
