This has been resolved. The Solo virus scanner was giving a false positive
on AbiWord.exe. SRN Micro confirmed it's just a problem with their
signature file and they're going to correct it.

I believe I did the win32 build for 1.99.2. I scanned for viruses with
McAfee and found nothing. Any suggestions on other steps I should try are

According to Bug 5614, somehow a virus seems to have
gotten into the AbiWord 1.99.2 EXE.

This may have happened on SF.net, or may have crept in
from whomever built those binaries.
I'd appreciate it if someone could verify the last few
ABW builds (1.99.2, 1.99.3, 1.99.4) do in fact have
this virus in them.
If this happened on the builder's end of things,
someone here (maybe Mikey) might be infected and
unknowingly spreading the virus.
Another possibility is that this guy's virus checker
is on crack. Either way, confirmation of this bug or
proof to the contrary are greatly appreciated.
In the interest of not introducing more virii into the
world, I'm going to temporarily postpone 2.0rc1
(1.99.5) until we get a better grasp on the problem.
