This is a warning for me. Anyway, it was buggy code. Now it's correct
code. Here's the commit (and I got rid of a bunch more warnings).

I'm going to go through and eliminate all vestiges of USE_LAYOUT_UNITS
now. Then I need to do a significant amount of Day Job before I'll be
able to contribute anything major to Abi, I think.
