Looks like there is rpm non-bidi version on the download page in sourceforge
for abiword for version 1.0.4:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=15518&release_id=84373
Will this resolve the problem for now?
I think a link for non-bidi version should be included on the download page in
abiword site also, as long as things problem is not yet resolved.
