If we supported preferences schemes, really, and had a
good way of distinguishing between them and editing
them individually, I might be inclined to agree with
this. That is, if I felt preference schemes were
useful to the majority of our users, or if I felt that
they should be done in AbiWord proper instead of a
level higher than abiword (cp AbiWord.profile.foo
AbiWord.profile).
That said, I don't think that we should contain a UI
element that is broken and doing nothing but consume
(dead) space. Until this "just works" I won't even
consider having a UI element for it in the preferences
dialog. Dead Space + confusing text = Bad, mmkay?
