yes, sorry, I forgot to CC gnumeric. My plan is to do the work for both
gnumeric and abiword.

yes, my first plan was to do it in the gnome-office module, rather than
in libgnomedb. If people have no problem with having gnumeric/abiword
depend on the current libgnomeoffice, then I'll just implement it in
gnome-office. If not, I'll put it temporarily in libgnomedb.
