As I am not very adventurous I haven't tried to use
Abiword-2 until yesterday.
I had actualized the galician translation
(gl-ES.strings) and to test and polish it I downloaded
a rpm package made by Marc Maurer from:

The package is "abiword-1.3.99-1.i386.rpm"

09:42:38 AM and I use RedHat 8.0. Previously I was
using abiword 1.0.4
Abiword-2 seems to run correctly but the menus do not
appear in galician. Neither the old gl-ES.strings
included in the package, nor the new string file,
actualized by me, do work.
I have made some tests and I have found that even when
most of the localizations seem work some of them do
not. The strings that don't work are:
art-lojban, ga-IE, gl-ES, he-IL, id-ID, pl-PL, ru-RU,
sk-SK, vi-VN and yi.
Some of then work correctly in version 1.0.4. The ones
that work in 1.0.4 are:
gl-ES, id-ID, pl-PL, sk-SK.
I have tried to find the problem, deleting strings
until the menus appeared in galician. But there are
too much of them to test one by one. So I decided to
ask in this list:
* Do anybody know what is wrong in these string
files?, if not
* Any idea?
