Q: UNIX code was already caching, what is the advantage here ?
A: it use the XP scheme that is maintained XP. This is refactoring.
Q: is there any speedup ?
A: probably not noticeable, if any.
Q: is that buggy ?
A: It has been tested and don't seems to be. But who knows ?
