    There was a long standing plan to make gnome-print depend only on GTK but
    I have no idea how much progress they made (I'm pretty sure they
    reduced the dependancies quite a lot though).

    If Jody Goldberg (current maintainer of gnome-print) is reading mabye he
    will enlighten us (or maybe I'll do some research myself ;)
