Limit the maximum size of a footnote to just short of a full page.

The behaviour now is that if a user tries to make a footnote bigger all
but 3 lines on a page (ie almost a full page for a single footnote), the
lines at the bottom will be simply be overwritten - which looks like a
    mess.

This is not ideal behaviour but it prevents crash. Making a footnote break
across pages without sucking is intricate work to get right. This will do
for now. I personally don't think one page footnotes should be allowed
anyway and this behaviour enforces that :-)

    Martin
