If you have editing you cannot have type ahead find.

For a Font list and style list it is more convenient to be able to skip
quickly through the list of available choices than it is to insert
something that may not be available.

For the Zoom list it does make sense to allow users to input arbitrary
values because there are many possible values other than the defaults
provided. Same goes for font size.
