i am trying to build abiword on MacOs X 10.2.8 (Darwin Kernel Version 6.8)
but getting these errors:

have configured it using: /configure --prefix=/opt/abiword
--with-zlib=/opt/zlib --with-popt=/opt/popt

After the configuration it reports:
Configured to build on a Mac OS X platform using Cocoa.

I am also using:

gcc version 3.4.0
GNU Make 3.80
automake (GNU automake) 1.8.4

Hope you could see something i do not.
