CAUTION : don't branch without tagging !!!

Don't branch the tree without tagging.

Branching means:

-tag the tree to have the state at the moment you branch. CVS does not
handle tree revisions, but file revisions. Tag helps circumventing this.
-branch using the tag made above (-r option)

You also must tag at the moment you last merged.
