source tree, update your CVS checkout and look in
abi/docs/build/autopackage.txt

Once you have your systems set up it should be fairly easy. Don't
hesitate to contact me via the abiword-dev list or #abiword on
gimpnet. Also the autopackage folks in #autopackage on freenode are
very helpful for general autopackage related questions.
