Hi Hub,

Here's an update of the patch that uses UT_UTF8String instead. Is there a
note anywhere in the code to say that UT_String in deprecated? I looked at
ut_string_class.h to see how to use it and didn't see any warnings.

The comment for UT_String (below) mentions multi-byte encodings which gave
me the impression it was OK.
