MSWord importer: The rest of the solution to #3311 (PATCH)

I was halfway through implementing a solution to the problem
referred to in the original source code when I discovered
that it was a different problem that was causing that
Japanese document to be corrupted. Fortunately, the solution
to this problem is much simpler.

I'll save the work I've done so far on handling multiple
fonts for text with mixed asian and western characters for
2.6, since that will be more invasive.

I've posted a patch and explanation to:

The fix needed is in wv and not AbiWord itself. I've made
the patch against wv-1-0-0-STABLE. Will it be that or
wv-HEAD that 2.4 uses?

BTW: Is the build OK at the moment? I'm currently unable to build
CVS-HEAD.
